Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers rave about the friendly service; the staff is always eager to accommodate specific meal requests without fuss, enhancing the dining experience. The affordability of meals is another highlight, with many describing the prices as 'great value' for the portion sizes and quality. The full English breakfast garners particular praise, often highlighted as a must-try for first-time visitors. The café's selection of homemade desserts, featuring loaded sweet treats that tempt diners, ensures no visit is complete without a dessert indulgence. Efficient service, even during peak hours, consistently impresses guests, making waiting times minimal.

Most Disliked

Some patrons note that while the food is exceptional, the café's interior could use a little love and modernizing, as a few details appear dated. Although the cleanliness is never in question, a refreshed ambiance might enhance the overall experience. Additionally, during peak times, especially on Sundays, waiting for a table can be an issue due to the café's popularity. Some diners feel that the dinner service, which runs less frequently, could be expanded to attract evening crowds, particularly since the café has so much to offer.

Very friendly staff, fresh hot cooked food & fast service, the 1 piece breakfast is very good value. The interior could do with a bit of love, but its clean. will definitely be calling in again. Also open on a Sunday morning. 👍

We called in whilst passing through Leek and we are really glad we did! Efficient, friendly service and we were ordering take-away full English breakfasts which were packaged so well and with great care. We were surprised at the speed too in which they were made. Really great experience and would not hesitate to come back or recommend to others. It was obvious other customers were enjoying their meals too from the feedback we heard.

1st timer for a motorcycle ride out with the Boss. Service spot on. Didn't want the tomatoes, no issues, had extra hash brown. And as breakfasts go, stunning. Had 1 piece breakfast & a 2 piece breakfast and a coffee each, £17.50. You cannot grumble.

Turned up here for a Saturday morning breakfast bap and a coffee. The pricing was very reasonable for the size of the meal, and the coffee was good. The speed at which I was served was second to none.. by the time I had had chance to view the maps on the wall I was being asked where I was sitting for my food.. Absolutely cracking job ladies!keep up the good work!

Great food and even better staff – so friendly and welcoming. We stopped in on our way to Madrenaline Activity Centre and it was perfect. They’ll even deliver, and Stu (our instructor) absolutely loves this place too. Well done Mill St Kitchen, highly recommended.

Went for first time with my neighbour for breakfast. We both had excellent meals, extremely tasty and great value for money. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. We had driven from Congleton and it was well worth the drive.
